nope no need to configure anything even the port forwarding. What you need to do just download the software then install it. make sure you already connected to the VPN server then you run your torrent client. It work fine for me. I even can reach 150kbps using 1mb stimmix connection. :)
Then it must be luck. So far all the torrents don't work for me, getting same rates as screamyx. I've tried Xunlei before this. The first few days I got smooth downloads, after that downloads almost all fell to 0K/s. So far Deluge seems to work better so I'm sticking to it. If anyone else is getting good results from Anchor Free please leave a comment.
hmm that's weird. I been using it since last month got no problem. 1 question after you connected to hotspot shield did you check your ip address? Suppose the ip recognize as non Malaysia IP will be detected.
hmm i have try this.. it give me a good speed, but after 2 day of using, now i cannot connect to the vpn, it say bandwidth exceeded. help ? or ? any clue ?

OK, i hv got a few questions:
1.can u use any torrent client with hotspot shield (i use bitcomet)
2.how come port forwarding is blocked even if i manually forwarded it with my router? Is it necessary?
3.I'm still getting the DAMN same old speed(cannot even go beyond 10kB/s)

Btw, i read in some post that 4mbps connection is not traffic shaped. Is it true? Any 4mbps users to confirm this? I might wanna upgrade if its true.

currently i still using smarthide and it still free. 4mb connection i'm not sure but if you get the fix IP account yes. I did try using it. Speed was awesome.

How well ? what i can say it depend on the seeds and Leechers as well the VPN server (smarthide). My personal record 160kbps++.
I used to get 180-200kBps for good torrents like naruto and bleach. Sigh, now can barely exceed 10kBps(that is the case if i'm lucky). Even the stupid 4mbps line is for certain place only. My house is not within its fucked up range. Screw them for their mediocre performance
Hotspot Shield no longer works. They musta have banned it or restricted it.
